Job Purpose

An opportunity exists for a experienced leader to join our team. This role is responsible to drive overall direction of Asia Pacific’s business through alignment with corporate goals and developing the execution blueprint across (all) markets in the region for AEM. This is a key role, focused on marketing and market development, intended to have long-term influence over Asia Pacific’s business.

Key Responsibilities, across Markets and Business Units

  1. Planning
  • Business Opportunity Assessment
  • Determine the size, growth and development of treatment areas relevant for TFXs business
  • Outline segmentation and targeting plans
  • Market Development and Marketing
  • Design programs (& activities) in line with business’ priorities, incl. new channels (e.g., digital)
  • Work with local teams to determine resourcing – manpower, $, structure – and intensity of activities
  • Projects
  • Be the sponsor (concept development to launch execution) of in-country projects
  • Strategic Planning
  • Lead and own the yearly process for Asia Pacific in working with countries
  • Alignment of Goals and Priorities
  • Work upstream with GBUs and downstream (in-country) to align APACs execution priorities.
  • APAC BU P&L Oversight
  • Indirectly responsible for the regular reporting of APAC BU P&L performance and strategic initiatives to improve both top-line and bottom-line performance.
  • APAC Growth Franchise Council for Anesthesia & Emergency Medicine
  • Lead the council in relation to any activities that will drive best practices, implementation of strategic initiatives and strategic thinking related to the business unit.

2. Execution and Focus, per priorities

  • Pursuit of Marketing Excellence
  • Develop customer insights (VoC, NPS)
  • Undertake product launches across markets
  • Develop and sustain digital marketing capabilities
  • Key Customer Engagement across Asia Pacific
  • Engage regularly with key HCPs and own those key relationships across multiple specialties
  • These relationships would be largely strategic (and not day-to-day)
  • Market Development, Market Access and Marketing Programs
  • Continuously refine in-market value proposition for TFX products and services
  • Lead market access, reimbursement and health economics projects per priorities
  • Strategic Partnerships
  • Identify and execute on regional strategic partnerships that will lead to the formation of Centres of Excellences (COEs) in APAC.

Key Relationships / Interfaces

  • Internal – This role supports the Asia Pacific leadership across multiple facets of the business viz., priority setting, measuring execution of key projects, interactions and alignment with GBUs / Corporate and aligning in-country leadership to company’s goals
  • External
  • With industry bodies – Highlight TFXs role across markets, in delivering value to its customers
  • Key customer engagement – Build key relationships across the ecosystem i.e., with HCPs (KOLs), government bodies, institutions, etc.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Candidates preferred with Prior experience in Air-way management, pain management, Anesthesiology & Emergency medicine.
  • Previous experience with a multinational company in the healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience of developing strategic partnerships with key hospitals accounts in Asia is desired.
  • Minimum of 12-20 years of escalating experience in sales, channel/distributor management, sales management, and/or marketing roles in the region.
  • Experience working in an organisation that has taken a business direct would be an added advantage
  • Demonstrated understanding of managing a P&L; financial and business acumen experience highly relevant.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Competent with business software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, at a minimum).
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
