Job Description

We're looking for a Marketing Lead to drive brand development and commercial success of Confectionary category in Poland and Baltics. As the leader of the Confectionary category, the largest scale and growth driver for our hub, you'll play a critical role in shaping its future. This position offers the opportunity to drive a long-term vision for brand identity and value creation while implementing a new organizational structure focused on local empowerment. With full PnL responsibility for the scope of approximately $350 million in Net Revenue, you'll provide leadership to a team of 15+ professionals, ensuring marketing excellence and business performance. As a critical interface with other business functions and colleagues in Zurich, you will drive strategic planning and successful execution, leveraging local consumer insights to deliver business advantages. Reporting to the Marketing Director for Poland and the Baltics, this role presents a unique opportunity to shape and grow our business while honing your marketing and business expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

Team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Creating positive & collaborative team spirit, setting ambitious and clear vision, guiding the organization through change and delivering ambitious growth objectives
  • Team size: 3 direct reports, 17 members in the team

Contribute to full business value growth:

  • Be part of category business management to deliver PLBAL category targets: strategies per market, budget prioritizations, business category meetings
  • Build strong brand plans in close collaboration w/ EU & cross functional teams
  • Set brand business targets & deliver against them with your engaged team

Brand strategies, marketing plans development and execution:

  • Build annual Marketing plans, leveraging local consumer & customer insights, taking into account Global/Regional brand agenda, equity and innovation strategies, as well as strategy and development of full mix for local jewels.
  • Build plans & ensure execution excellence on all drivers of the mix
  • Brand portfolio: Milka, Prince Polo, Nussbeiser

Candidate Requirements:

We are looking for a seasoned Marketing leader to take on this role with 10+ years of experience. Important to have confirmed expertise in business and people management - as well as proven track records of strategic ability, engaging the team, delivering results, and successfully managing all aspects of marketing mix. 

We are looking for a marketing leader with passion for brands and ambition to deliver outstanding marketing work, and build a great legacy for Mondelez brands in Poland and Baltics.

You must be agile and eager to collaborate closely with the Sales and Category Planning teams.

You must be commercially well-rounded and financially aware, with strong business acumen and ideally experience in sales as well as strong marketing experience and skills. 

Fluency in English is required.

The position is based in Warsaw, Poland. 

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
