Become part of Cardiology Informatics – a global business line within Healthcare Informatics that creates innovative Cardiovascular IT solutions for (Interventional) Cardiologists around the world. Cardiology is one of the four growth pillars of Philips and in order to accelerate our growth ambitions we are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager that will focus on Service Marketing, Serviceability, and Platform technology - a pivotal role for our business and the broader Cardiology and Informatics community in Philips!

You are responsible for

  • Developing and maintaining a strategic vision on Service Marketing, Infrastructure/Platform Technology, Serviceability, and value-added Services across the various solutions in our Portfolio.
  • Creating a state-of-the art platform and serviceability roadmap by translating (deep) market insights into new solutions by working together with Key Opinion Leaders globally as well as a great variety of colleagues (e.g. Engineering teams, Sales, Service, Product Management, Marketing, and Product Owners).
  • You will need to balance long-term strategic thinking with day-to-day decision making as you will act as the Product Owner for one or more development teams for whom you will develop and prioritize the backlog to continuously improve the products and services of your team(s).
  • In addition, you will be commercially responsible for creating and managing the service portfolio for Cardiology propositions as well as rolling it out to our markets globally.
  • Teaming-up with other Informatics businesses across Philips to jointly create innovative roadmaps, commercial / business model innovations, and new value propositions across the various informatics solutions with a focus on Services.
  • On a regular basis present our roadmap and vision to senior stakeholders within Hospitals globally as well as closely work with our Sales & Service colleagues around the world.
  • Some of the main KPI’s for this role are Order Intake Growth, Margin Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction.
  • The role will have significant exposure within as well as outside of our Business Group and therefore offers excellent career opportunities in the future.

You are a part of

You will be working in our Product Management & Clinical Marketing team. We are a team of professionals that are passionate about improving people’s lives and have broad responsibility for realizing business strategy, objectives, and operating plan for Cardiology IT. The team is based across several locations in the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, North America, and Brazil. You will be based in our brand new office in the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven that is fully designed for software development and Agile processes. You will report to the Head of Product Management for Cardiology Informatics.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Master’s Degree; ideally a Computer Science or related degree; MBA is preferred
  • 8 – 10+ years of work experience as a product manager, (solutions) architect, service role (e.g. customer success manager, technical consultant, project manager), and/or experience working for an IT department of a hospital. Candidates with a (technical) consulting background are also invited to apply
  • Ability to work with customers globally
  • Healthcare domain knowledge considered a plus however not required
  • A commercial mind-set and strong ability to identify growth and improvement opportunities

  • Outstanding communication- and influencing skills
  • Fluent in English
  • 10-20% of international travel
