Overview

The National Account Program Manager – International Business is responsible for International sales growth, global contract negotiations and new solution development worldwide for the 200 accounts under the National Accounts Team.  This role is also responsible for developing and implementing training as well as collaborating with all domestic and international sales organizations to develop strategic penetration within the global marketplace. 

 

This role is responsible for establishing Humanscale as an industry leader, through in-depth understanding of competitive international account programs. To accomplish this, the suitable candidate must increase Humanscale’s market share by 550% within the next two years through developing, implementing and monitoring strategies and action steps to achieve international penetration for National Accounts sales team headquartered in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training for National Accounts Team with focus on identifying and developing international sales opportunities.
  • Develop plans to increase high-level contacts through a strategic effort that will increase account penetration globally.
  • Coordinate strategic plan for national accounts with international partners and monitor activities and results within those assigned accounts.
  • Develops and executes unified collaborative account marketing plans with management to maximize account penetration for assigned accounts with locations outside of North America.
  • Leads scheduled conference calls with assigned support and International team members for each assigned account.
  • Coordinates negotiations of National/International agreements in conjunction with the contracting and compliance department.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in positioning, selling and implementing global applications.
  • Serves as a liaison between the factory and the customer/dealer on shipment and quality matters.
  • Assists with all National Account RFP’s with International deliverables.

 

RELATIONSHIPS:

 

  • External Customers- Frequent contact with assigned accounts and prospects regarding sales

penetration.  Moderate contact with dealers regarding account management, penetration, and service issues.

 

  • Internal Contacts- Contact with Executive management regarding assigned account activity and International mediation. Provides ongoing leadership to sales force regarding International support, communication and best practices. Strong relationships with Contracting group for Global Contact Pricing and RFP’s and with Operations regarding product, scheduling, and marketing programs.  Frequent contact with Administration (Customer Service, Order Entry.) Maintain high level relationships with International Teams. Frequent contact with Sales and marketing groups, regarding program, and services.

 

 

   

      ACCOUNT AND REVENUE RESPONSIBILITY:

 

  • Position will be responsible for the growth of International Business within the National Account Program.
  • This position will also be required to manage a group of accounts and carry a personal goal.
  • Target revenue goal from $1.5M – $5M
  • 100% of goal and revenue for assigned national accounts.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Four to Six years of diversified experience in International sales and marketing with high level National or International Accounts.
  • International Industry experience with dealers and A&D contact, or closely related industry is a plus.
  • Must have experience working and living in two or more International Regions.
  • Proven understanding of International Business Communications.
  • Proven strength in building relationships internationally.
  • Successful track record; including:
    • Achieving or exceeding sales goals
    • Accomplishing product mix targets
    • Proven success managing and growing major accounts (1,000 employees +) with multiple locations
  • Willing and able to travel (10%-20% travel)
  • Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the United States.
