You will be working as Senior Engineering Manager in Enterprise Technology Lab (ETL) for Creative Cloud Enterprise business unit. You’ll lead and manage a core team of computer scientists to design, develop and deliver engineering solutions and highly connected workflows for enterprise customers. You and your team will also develop concepts, rapid prototypes and deliver highly integrated solutions. 

What you'll do

  • Drive and manage complex engineering projects to a successful conclusion by working closely with internal and external resources.
  • Ideate, prototype, experiment and deliver concepts and end to end workflows with rich user experiences.
  • Manage day to day engineering operations including team management, scrum, project planning, engineering escalations and prioritization.
  • Collaborate with various technical architects and functional leads to determine the best solution design/architecture based on customer workflows and requirements
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to drive prioritization, inter-dependencies, analysis and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Hiring, coaching and professional development of team members.
  • Strategize to deal with uncertainties, evolving requirements and help bring clarity.
  • Inspire and encourage the team, ensure that team dynamics continue to be healthy and that team cohesion is high.
  • Review and provide feedback to team members on solution design, architecture, code, bugs, time & budget estimates.
  • Develop and evolve processes to optimize team efficiency.
  • Foster a strong relationship between Adobe and customer.

What you need to succeed

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.
  • Overall 12+ years of experience with minimum of 6 years of progressive people management experience in software development company.
  • Clear track record of building deep and enduring relationships in a highly agile and dynamic organization.
  • Strong hands on knowledge of modern software development methodologies and software design patterns and have experience leading & delivering significant software projects/products.
  • Excellent architecture and full stack programming skills in developing software solutions. Deep technical knowledge of full stack development including Web Application front-end, SDK development, API/services and related infrastructure.
  • Proven background of design, execution and management of complex technology projects with involvement of customers and third parties.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working closely with multiple high profile customers and internal stakeholders such as account managers, evangelists and engineers.
  • Strong personal organization skills including the ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conceptualized, built and delivered 1.0 products.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; must display customer obsession, patience, and a can-do/whatever-it-takes, resourceful and positive attitude.
