Job Description Title: Senior Lead Engineer – Displays (Hybrid)

Experience: 6 to 10 Years

Primary Responsibilities:

Working in capacity of Lead Engineer producing technically for Collins Displays Application Software Applications. The Cockpit Displays Applications is centric and core to the integrated/ advanced cockpit environment that objectively assist the Flight crew by providing required information and awareness for Safe Flight Operations. Incumbent in his/her role will be performing the Verification, Design and Development of Avionics Safety Critical (Do 178B/C level A) Displays Application and necessary supporting activities surrounding the Project objectives. Operating in Agile Work environment the individual is required to assume responsibilities, take ownership of the tasks in hand to navigate through the roadblocks and Technical Challenges . Its an Individual Contributor role with individuals having an affinity to problem solving.

Skill Sets 

  • Individual with 6+ years of experience, knowledge, and experience in software development and verification (C, C++, Ada, Python)
  • Verification experience in embedded applications,
  • Model-based development, MATLAB
  • Programming Skills and Python & Scripting
  • Exposure to safety-critical applications
  • Autonomous, Self-Driven, Problem-Solving Skills, Good Communication Skills
  • Quick Learner, Analytical, Problem Solver, Self Driven and Good Communication abilities 
  • Experience in verification using programming or scripting languages like Python.

Technical Job Responsibilities 

  • Contribute technically to the Program objectives 
  • Provide and implement Solutions to medium & complex technical Challenges
  • Coordinating and collaborating with the US teams 

Basic Qualifications

BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech or any other equivalent degree.
