Description: We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will lead a team of financial analysts responsible for EVM and proposal functions at SWFLANT supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program.
This senior financial analyst will lead effectively across all business functions ensuring that the F&BO team at SWFLANT completes all of the following duties:
Review and coordinate Monthly Automated Variance Reports (AVAR) Summary Reports. Review monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) reports with Resource Analysts prior to archiving. The financial analyst will be responsible for coordination of monthly diagnostics, including taking corrective action. Load and maintain budgets in EVM tool (Cobra). Claim performance Budget Cost of Work Performed (BCWP) monthly. Utilize the EVM system to measure cost and schedule performance, as well as, prepare variance reports on a monthly basis. Prepare presentations for upper management and customers on a weekly, monthly and bi-monthly basis (as required). Prepare yearly Comprehensive Estimate at Complete (CEACs). Assist with proposals and preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOE's) for both labor and Non-Labor inputs. This financial analyst must be able to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Must be able to obtain or have an active Interim Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship required.
Desired Skills: Experience with SAP and COBRA.
Previous experience working on defense contracts located at a government owned and operated facilities.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience/combined education. Masters degree a plus.
3 years of EVM or Program Performance Management experience.
Strong analytical abilities and demonstrated success in team based environments.
Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Strong communication skills.
