THE ROLE: Shopify Plus delivers enterprise ecommerce without the headaches. We are looking for a Junior Plus Account Managers (AM) work will work with our Plus merchants to help them understand how to best use Shopify Plus to achieve their goals. They provide insight, information and guidance on best practices, industry standards and ways to improve performance. Junior Plus AMs are experts in Shopify Plus who work hard everyday to create the ideal conditions for success with our merchants. PLUS ACCOUNT MANAGER PROFILE: To succeed in this role you need to be passionate about customers, driven to help them succeed and focused on helping them use Shopify Plus to its fullest. Additionally you will need to excel in the following areas; Proactive, consultative, and strategic approach to customer account management. Deep ecommerce knowledge Experience with SaaS based technology platforms Strong business acumen Working with multiple stakeholders, including C-level executives Highly organized, professional and reliable Passion for continued learning and development Intrinsically motivated to succeed Able to handle fast paced, continually changing environments WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: A Plus Account Manager (AM) works with merchants, partners, app developers and Shopify to ensure we are constantly exceeding our customer's expectations while helping Plus merchants achieve their goals. To do this Plus AM’s are responsible for the following; Developing lasting relationships and guiding merchants as a trusted advisor Developing a deep understand of each merchants industry trends, best practices and business goals with a focus on business value and ROI Recommending ways to better utilize and optimize Shopify Plus for success Liaison with Shopify Partners to scope out and provide custom app solutions. Oversees the initial launch and own the ongoing adoption and renewal of their accounts Identifies risk, upsell opportunities and works with internal and external stakeholders to present solutions Advocate within Shopify for the clients needs Demonstrates commitment to realizing the growth in areas outlined by the merchant as critical areas for success (revenue, customer base, international expansion, etc). Elevate the overall client experience TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU SHOULD HAVE: Minimum of 2+ years of SAAS account management or customer success experience or equivalent industry experience Superb organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage short and long-term projects to completion. A customer centric attitude Track record of meeting/exceeding individual targets Technical understanding of SaaS software and APIs Excellent communication skills A team mentality with the motivation to set the bar higher and push the team to learn alongside you . The ability to act independently and own your responsibilities. A Passion for retail, commerce and technology
