Director of Strategic Partnerships


Reports To: Sr. Director of Marketing Overview: Develop, grow and build successful strategic partner program that generates demand for MINDBODY products and services, and builds the MINDBODY brand worldwide. Build a strategy for identifying and developing marketing partnerships that help us promote MINDBODY Connect, MINDBODY Connect Workplace and MINDBODY software. Oversee marketing efforts globally to ensure alignment and cohesiveness with the international marketing strategy. Responsibilities: • Manage/supervise the Strategic Partnerships team, providing direction and guidance for execution of successful programs. • Develop and execute a Strategic Partner marketing plan for 2015 to grow the program globally and achieve monthly and quarterly lead and close projections • Work with Sr. Director of International Sales, International Marketing Programs Manager and Strategic Partner Manager to develop and implement successful partner programs that generate more leads and sales in our international regions, with focus on targeted key countries. • Work with the Director of Consumer Marketing to identify and form relationships with strategic marketing partners for MINDBODY Connect. • Guide the development of win/win proposals for strategic partnerships • Identify and secure strategic partners both domestically and internationally, with special emphasis/focus on key countries. • Manage existing and new strategic partnerships to maximize the relationships and ensure more leads and closes from this channel. • Meet regularly with key strategy partners to come up with new ways to promote the software to their members • Write and negotiate strategic partner agreements that maximize the relationship and provide a win-win for both sides. • Work with Business Partners in any capacity to help them promote and refer the MINDBODY Software. • Support or make available training resources for Business Partners so they can demonstrate key benefits of the software. • Monitor current lead management process with motivation to all ways be improving the process and deliver efficiencies. • Work with other teams, including Sales, Business Development, Customer Service and Accounting to ensure partnerships are managed smoothly and effectively Other • Track impact of the Partner Program within position responsibility to assess their impact on lead generation and new sales. • Assist Sr. Director of Marketing and International Marketing Program Manager on additional projects, as assigned. • Participate in Marketing Department and other organizational meetings, as required. • Complete regular project status reports to Sr. Director of Marketing and CMO. • Maintain a strong solid understanding of MINDBODY software. • Function with an attitude of continuous improvement and growth, both personally and for the organization. Skills: Specific Skills/Education • Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or a related field of study. • At least 10 years’ experience in channels sales or business development, with proven track record for building and nurturing win-win relationships • Highly skilled at relationship-building and negotiation • Strong written and oral communication skills. General Skills • Strong project management and organizational capabilities. • Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a diverse group. • Strong understanding of a business-to-business marketing environment.
