What this job involves

As a Lead Product Designer at JLL Technologies, you will be directly responsible for leading product design activity across multiple products for JLL Technologies, with minimal support. You will support Product Designers with their products and developing practice, contributing new approaches and innovations to the wider design team for consideration and adoption.

Our products are wide ranging, serving end customers and internal teams across sales, leasing, and operations, focusing on demand generation, sales acceleration, and data-driven apps. Your time will vary between design execution across key products, conceptual experience design across a range of initiatives, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders – never a dull day! You will be customer and insight led in your approach, with a sharp eye for detail and a strong track record bringing products to life with great design. The resulting experiences will define excellence for our 'front-stage' product offerings, combining services, technology and content in ways that engage and delight our customers, online and offline.

  • Lead the design process from problem discovery through implementation and ongoing measurement of impact, across multiple products with minimal support
  • Deliver compelling visual experiences that wow our clients and reflect well upon our brokers in their work with them
  • Guide and validate design decisions through analytics and research, synthesizing new research methodologies appropriate to different customer and business problem scenarios
  • Support and mentor Product Designers within the team by overseeing their practice, leading by example and coaching where necessary
  • Determine the right methods and artifacts that efficiently and effectively communicate design decisions e.g. experience maps, service blueprints, user journey, wireframes, low and high fidelity prototypes
  • Balance user and business goals to achieve desirable, viable, and feasible solutions
  • Facilitate engaging and collaborative workshops with senior stakeholders, creating models of good practice and adding value via the introduction of design thinking techniques and environments across JLL Technologies
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, data analysts and business stakeholders
  • Facilitate presentations and reviews to socialize the rationale and insights that informed the design
