Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS) 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS/Azure to join our dynamic and innovative team at LDT aiLab, a division of Genpact. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities: 

1. Cloud Infrastructure Management: 

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. 
  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. 
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient utilization. 

2. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): 

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes. 
  • Facilitate automated testing and deployment of applications to AWS services. 
  • Implement and improve deployment strategies to achieve high availability and zero downtime. 

3. Security and Compliance: 

  • Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. 
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and monitoring to safeguard data and resources. 
  • Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to mitigate risks. 

4. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: 

  • Set up monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. 
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for high performance and low latency. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to cloud services and infrastructure. 

5. Automation and Orchestration: 

  • Automate manual tasks and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce human errors. 
  • Implement orchestration tools like Kubernetes for container management and scaling. 
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and deployment. 

6. Collaboration and Documentation: 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions. 
  • Document architecture, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference. 
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior team members. 

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • Proven work experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS services. 
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS core services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Sagemaker Lambda, and VPC. 
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. 
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline. 
  • Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience in securing cloud environments. 
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud-based systems. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) are a plus.
