What You’ll Do

The Sales Business Development role is passionate about engaging with Cisco customer facing teams and partners and multiple customer facing internal leaders to drive strategic growth opportunities. Business development professionals understand the key drivers of the business, customers, partners, and competitors. This role will lead execution of critical initiatives that drive bottom line revenue and impact overall customer experience you will drive growth of Cisco’s business with our Consulting partners across Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China.

Influence and align internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Marketing. Sales and Services to ensure that the Cisco value proposition meets our global Consulting partners end customer requirements are critical to the success of this role.

Aspiring to accelerate time to market through the design and launch of innovative new services, evangelizing the use of agile creation processes. Collaborating across sales, partner, and technical teams to develop and execute strategic plans, identify and qualify opportunities, and drive revenue and profitability. Building and maintaining positive relationships with partners and their customers, and position Cisco as the preferred vendor for their digital transformation projects.

Reasonable amount of traveling for this position is required.

Who You’ll Work With

In APJC Partner Routes to Market Sales Team, we are responsible for driving Cisco’s partner strategy and ecosystem across the region. You will report to the Partner Sales Director and work with a team of dedicated and passionate professionals who are committed to delivering outstanding customer outcomes and partner experiences. You will also interact with various functions including sales, engineering, marketing, operations, finance, legal, etc.

Who You Are

You are a self-motivated and outcome-focused sales & business development professional with a strong goal and performance orientation and at least several years’ experience. You have a proven record of developing and growing partner business using your critical thinking, and analytical skills. You are a strong collaborator and consultative seller with excellent communication and relationship building skills allowing you to establish trust on all levels of Cisco and our customers.

You are able to work effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders. You are passionate about technology and innovation, and have a deep understanding of Cisco’s portfolio and value proposition.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management in the IT industry
  • 5+ years of experience working at / with Consulting partners
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), and other Asian languages are always a bonus and have very high cultural awareness

The preferred qualifications for this role are:

  • Experience selling or working with Cisco solutions and services
  • Experience in cloud, data center, security, collaboration, or IoT domains
  • Experience in digital transformation or industry verticals such as public sector, financial services, manufacturing, etc.
  • Cisco sales or technical certifications
