Senior Research Analyst | Mid-Caps

Join our Equity Research team in Mumbai and help deepen our footprint within an exciting and growing market, leveraging the strengths of the Macquarie platform. You will be working as a seasoned writing analyst, covering mid-cap stocks in India in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

What role will you play?

Working directly with our Head of Research India, you will leverage your deep industry knowledge and contacts to identify exciting investment opportunities within Mid-Caps coverage. You will assist our clients to access those opportunities by conducting market analysis, financial modelling, and producing quality reports. You will engage with senior stakeholders of the companies covered, travel to develop industry contacts when available and be servicing the largest institutional investors in the world on a daily basis. Given the coverage scope of the role, you’ll have the opportunity to explore highly detailed company analysis in addition to a wider, macro level view.

What you offer

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in equity research in buy-or sell-side
  • Generalist sector coverage experience with an entrepreneurial and dynamic mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and track record of building solid relationships with international and domestic institutional clients as well as internal teams globally
  • Strong team ethics and the desire to work within a fast-paced environment.
