Job Description

Position manages supervisory positions of an operational nature, these subordinate positions will be more narrowly focused on a functional or geographic basis with primary focus on expenses, productivity metrics and customer service. The District Manager will need to facilitate the focus of the team on driving financial results at the EP level. Individual supervisors will operate largely independently in terms of day to day responsibility, District Manager will focus on managing through performance management and regular monitoring of financial results.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and adhering to operational and sales budgets targets.
  • Accountable for financial performance for district through improving the overall business efficiencies.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction achieved (measured by satisfaction survey).  
  • Provide leadership to direct reports and front line employees to ensure alignment, focusing on productivity, employee satisfaction, change and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business priorities. 
  • Provides clear direction by establishing and regularly communicating performance expectations and results with the team, and takes appropriate actions to address issues as and when they arise
  • Liaise with all applicable government departments in each province.
  • Knowledgeable in current and potential practices and trends in the industry to develop strategies to increase profitability.
  • Applies creative approaches to addressing needs to achieve win-win solution.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in business and/or equivalent experience with a customer service background. 
  • Business Acumen.  Well developed analytical and relationship building skills.
  • 5 years experience in operations and/or customer service. 5 years industry related management experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written along with presentation skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills. 

  • High customer service – required to deal with internal and external customers. 

  • Exceptional leadership skills - Must be able to lead by example. 

  • Action oriented.
