The position will be based in Istanbul, Türkiye and will be reporting to Supply Chain COE Director, BAMEAC.

The position

As our Supply Chain Analytics and Digitalization Manager, you will interact directly with our affiliates, getting close to our markets and patients. The ultimate goal is to get from data to insight, to meaningful actions. You will be also supporting the BA (Business Area) Supply Chain organisation transform into data driven organisation and add more advanced analytical techniques. You will be Supply Chain Analytics and Digitalization Partner to the Business Area and collaborate closely with our regional and central analytics teams and DDIT team.

Your key responsibility areas will be:

  • Working closely with our countries in BAMEAC, you will be a key driver in defining and shaping supply chain digitalization, strategic BI and analytics projects. 
  • Improving Business Intelligence and customer centric Supply Chain (SC) Performance Reporting.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistent performance of SC dashboards and reports
  • Conducting training sessions to maximize user engagement and understanding of dashboards and supply chain relevant systems.
  • Working with the affiliates and local data providers, especially wholesalers/distributors regarding standardizing data collection and management.

Qualifications

You have at least a bachelor’s degree within Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science or similar with a natural flair for data within at least 5 years of data analytics , Supply Chain, Digitalization, IT, Engineering or other relevant area. You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Skills that will be essential for this role include:

  • Expert in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence skills.
  • Experience with analytical and visualisation tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI will be an advantage.
  • Strong interest in digitalization, development and implementation of new solutions.
  • Being able to work independently while valuing teamwork and best practice sharing.
  • Understanding of supply chain management processes, network and end-to-end trade-offs.

You have a can-do analytical mindset, and it comes naturally to you to test new techniques, tools and ways of working. We expect you will be good at what you do, have an eye for details, and be able to take lead on projects. You can work both independently and together with others. You can communicate with different kinds of stakeholders from various cultures with differing levels of analytics knowledge.

About the department

BAMEAC (Business Area Middle East, Africa and CIS) a part of Region SEEMEA (Southeast Europe, Middle East & Africa); is a vast region that includes 73 countries with over 1000 employees. The business area office is in Istanbul. The Supply Chain unit is a part of the BAMEAC Finance & Operations Department and serves as a centre of excellence with the affiliates.
