The Department of Infectious Disease at MedImmune, LLC is seeking a skilled molecular biologist with expertise in virology/gene therapy. As a member of the Microbial Sciences group, you will contribute both intellectually and at the bench to the design and creation of next generation viral vectors and explore their use in oncology and infectious disease indications. Moreover, you may investigate new approaches towards eliciting immune responses toward viral and tumor antigens and developing therapeutics targeting respiratory pathogens. The qualified candidate will be a well-organized and highly productive scientist who can design and execute experiments efficiently and interpret data in the context of multidisciplinary project teams. The position requires the ability to embrace new technologies quickly and the ability to perform in a fast-paced, matrix-structured work environment. You will have general knowledge of the fields of virology, molecular biology and immunology.
