This position emphasizes hands-on analytical forensic investigation testing, problem solving with a collaborative mind-set.   Key Components of the role ·        Apply foundational knowledge of   forensic science   and various forensic microscopy techniques to identifying unknown substances and objects collected from consumer complaints and legal ·        Follow ISO 17025 consumer complaint and legal sample handling SOP ·        Perform essential microscopy testing and provide data in timely matter as part of extraneous matter investigation effort to address food industry measurement challenges the area such as extraneous matter found in ingredients or products and root cause analysis in production sites ·        Perform laboratory report entry in the database on a daily basis    ·        Attention to details with good laboratory skills are essential ·        Adhere to laboratory safety standards Qualifications   Qualifications ·        BS with MS preferred in forensic science or a related science, such as biology, chemistry, molecular biology, physics and microbiology ·        Established knowledge of forensic investigation or experience is preferred. ·        Operate, analyze, and interpret data obtained from stereoscope, polarized and fluorescent light microscopy with expertise in Scanning Electron Microscope with energy dispersed x-ray spectroscopy ·        Ability to execute multiple assignments concurrently ·        Self-motivated team player ·        Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel programs.   Intermediate computer skills are required as this involves working with databases.     EEO Statement           Kraft Heinz Company, Inc. is an equal employment employer and is committed to providing employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans, and disabled individuals.
