Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) has a requirement for an Operations/ARTC Integrator for the ARCENT Readiness Training Center (ARTC) at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The Ops/ARTC Integrator must be United States citizen with proof of citizenship and current U.S. passport.

The ARTC provides ARCENT with the facilities, infrastructure and personnel required to provide Live, Virtual and Gaming (LV&G) training for a deployed Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT), ARCENT Security Force (SECFOR), Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB) and other ARCENT controlled units. The ARTC program assists ARCENT in achieving their LVC&G objectives by providing a myriad of capabilities in addition to the following Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations:

  • Engagement Skills Trainers II (EST II)
  • Bradley Conduct of Fire Trainers (B-COFTs)
  • Call-for-Fire Trainers (CFFTs)
  • Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Training
  • Counter Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Training
  • HMMWV Egress Assistance Trainer (HEAT)
  • Intelligence & Electronic Tactical Proficiency Trainer (IEWTPT-HCC)
  • JTAC-TACP Operational Simulation Suite (J-T/OSS)
  • Medical Simulations Training Facility (MSTF)
  • Mobile Advanced Gunnery Training Systems (M-AGTSs)
  • MRAP Egress Trainers (MET)
  • Reconfigurable Vehicle Tactical Trainer (RVTT)
  • Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) Training
  • Urban Collective Training Facility (UCTF)

Job Description:

The Ops/ARTC Integrator will work directly under the supervision of the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) Program Manager at Camp Buehring, Kuwait. His/Her duties and responsibilities will include management and supervision of all Live, Virtual and Gaming (LV&G) capabilities and activities associated with ARTC operations. The ARTC Integrator is also responsible for submission of all weekly TADSS updates, usage reports (weekly & quarterly), oversight of TS-MATS and RFMSS scheduling administration and the monitoring/surveillance of daily ARTC activity. This responsibility may extend to the UAE and Jordan, in addition to anywhere in the USCENTCOM AOR; where we may deploy capabilities. The closest military analogue to this position is that of a combat arms battalion S3.

Required Hours:

The standard duty schedule is six (6) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s) and a standard 40 hour work week while at CONUS work sites.

Responsibilities:

The ARTC Integrator shall be responsible for the following:

  • Coordinates all training for units stationed or flowing through the ARTC.
  • Ensures prioritization of unit training is based on ARCENT G37TREX directives.
  • Attends training meetings with ARCENT, Range Operations and training units to ensure all training requests for ARTC resources are properly scheduled in RFMSS.
  • Prepare for and facilitate training priority and de-confliction meetings with Raytheon, ARCENT and ASG representatives three-times a week. Capture and communicate results to the training audience.
  • Reviews RFMSS schedule with training units, ARTC Instructors/Operators/Maintainers, and makes changes as needed, posts results in hard copy weekly to Teammates and digitally on the Camp Buehring Web Site.
  • Maintains currency on all training timelines, equipment requirements and throughputs for all events available to units and prevents double bookings.
  • Coordinates with Range Operations as required.
  • Reviews weekly TS-MATS TADSS usage reports prior to submission.
  • Reviews quarterly TS-MATS TADSS usage reports prior to submission.
  • Provides short and long range training schedules to the Program Manager for inclusion in the overall training and exercise synchronization matrix.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations in MS PowerPoint.
  • Brief Government personnel up to the General Officer level.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive operations and training background.
  • Combat arms background.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work under challenging deadlines.
  • Expert knowledge of US Army Training Management (FM 7-0, ADRP 7-0) doctrine and procedures.
  • Able to work closely with other team members, Customers, and End Users.
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office automation tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Be willing to travel within USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Must be willing to work and live in Kuwait.
  • Must be willing travel MILAIR and wear protective clothing and equipment as required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET Security Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous US Army/USMC Commissioned Officer.
  • Experience with Virtual Training Aids Devices Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) listed above (MET, EST II, Conduct of Fire Trainers (COFT), VBS-3, etc.).
  • Previous experience as a US Army maneuver battalion (Infantry/Armor) Operations Officer (S3).
  • Previous experience as an Observer/Controller at a US Army Combat Training Center (NTC/JRTC/JMRC).
  • US Military staff college course graduate (ILE or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of military Live, Virtual, Constructive and Gaming (LCV&G) training methodologies and systems.
  • Experience with current US Army Mission Command Systems.
  • Combat experience (OIF/OEF) preferred.
  • Anticipate requirements, and suggest, implement, and follow up on acceptable solutions.
  • Knowledge of military protocols and procedures.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited school & six (6) years of related experience, OR four (4) years related experience with Master's degree. Eight (8) years of additional equivalent work experience (14 total years) may be accepted in lieu of BA/BS education requirement.

Must have and be able to maintain a US Secret Security Clearance

Must be able to pass an FBI Background Investigation and possess a positive or clean State Driver’s License Bureau Report.
