It is both a strategic and a tactical position. Those that do not want to get their hands dirty or build out a function against a blank slate without buying pre-packaged solutions should not apply. This position will play a critical role in managing the accounting and reporting for stock compensation and long-term debt, from recording journal entries to providing required disclosures for SEC filings. This position will interact with Compensation, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, external auditors and other external service providers. This position will perform technical accounting and SEC research in order to provide management with timely information for decision-making and analysis. The position will also assist in other significant projects, which vary based on the Company’s business transactions and priorities (e.g., acquisitions, divestitures, new policies, new types of transactions, training initiatives, benchmarking, etc.). The position is also focused on developing fellow team members. Specific Responsibilities: • Accounting and reporting: recording all stock compensation activity, from ledger entry through the Company’s consolidation applications used for external reporting • Accounting and reporting: managing the accounting activity related to the company’s long-term debt and capital leases • Stock administration and reporting: direct linkage with Compensation group and oversight over external vendors managing the Company’s stock activity and accounting • Calculating basic and diluted earnings per share • Monitoring US GAAP and SEC developments and evaluating the impacts of new accounting and reporting rules • Preparing required disclosures to support SEC filings • Researching technical accounting matters • Working with external auditors • Assisting in projects relating to M&A activity, accounting and reporting as they become necessary Qualifications   • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations • Minimum 4 years of experience. Public accounting with emphasis in SEC engagements • Ability to effectively lead, manage and prioritize multiple projects, while effectively operating in a fast-paced, complex global organization with shifting schedules and priorities • Detail-oriented • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills • Ability to work efficiently and achieve results, while maintaining high quality • Excellent analytical, teamwork, customer service and leadership skills     Kraft Heinz Company, Inc. is an equal employment employer and is committed to providing employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans, and disabled individuals.
