Job Summary

Lead the development and implementation of the Supply Chain strategy in the business unit, aligned to the business objectives Responsible for overall performance of supply chain function (including planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and customer services) within the business unit.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand, reflect & practice IFFCO’s vision & values.
  • Responsible for developing annual supply chain plan, including mix of outsourcing, external and internal capacities for manufacturing, warehousing and delivery in consonance with the annual business plan.
  • Based on Sales Forecasts, plan total inventories, production, finished goods, warehousing and transit inventories to ensure optimization and efficiencies in working capital deployed. Be responsible for building sophistication in the demand forecasting process
  • Ensure that the Inventory Plan adequately reflects SKU level production and corresponding SKU-wise Service Level in the market.
  • Ensure just-in-time availability of raw and packing material to service the production plan through timely call-ups of raw materials, packing materials as determined and negotiated according to company policy & procedure.
  • Ensure optimal route planning and the productivity of the trucks and manpower
  • Determine the requirement of warehouse and delivery van capacities. Ensure optimal supply of these capacities

Work experience requirement

  • 8+ years of overall supply chain experience in reputed Companies, in the relevant Industry/Sector
  • Demand operations and planning

  • Customer services & Import Operations
  • Good understanding of Finance, analytical skills

Qualification

  • Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering
  • Post-Graduate Professional Degree (Masters in Supply Chain or Engineering) is an advantage
