The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for conducting various analytical tests and experiments, analyzing data to ensure that the test results of all incoming and finish product are within Shell Standard and Thai Government specification.

What’s the role?

As a Laboratory Analyst, you will be required to do the following:

  • Perform laboratory tests and experiments using a variety of techniques and equipment.
  • Interpretation of test data to determine if products meet specification and certifying products for sale to end customers.
  • Inspect document, instrument, and instruction according to ISO17025, ISO9001, ISO14001.
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
  • To do preventive maintenance/calibration for all laboratory apparatus by contacting with Engineering Department or local suppliers.
  • To issue purchase order of chemical reagents and Preventive Maintenance/Calibration service.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, protocols, and best practices to minimize risks and ensure safe working environment.
  • Support Quality Manager in driving improvement programs/projects.

What we need from you

To be a successful Laboratory Analyst, we would like to see the following in your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule (day and night shift)
  • Willing to work on a 6-day work week
  • Has basic knowledge on Bitumen/Asphalt is a plus.
  • Experience working in a laboratory setting is an advantage.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with experience are welcome to apply
