About this opportunity

The mission of the Senior Security Tools Engineer is to play the lead role to prevent, detect, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents across the Align enterprise through proactive monitoring, scanning, analysis, policy, intelligence, and countermeasures.

In this role, the Senior Security Tools Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, support and maintenance various security tools (anti-malware, SIEM, Security scanners etc.). The Senior Security Tools Engineer will also complete projects and tasks on an as-needed basis and interact directly with technical and business units.

In this role, you will… 

  • Monitor, support and maintain various security tools and services.
  • Take part in implementation of new IT systems and security tools.
  • Provide expertise opinion on architecture of various solutions developed internally by R&D teams.
  • Review and address any other reported security concerns, incidents or questions received via incident tracking system or other means.
  • Support SOC Incident Response team in analyses and eradication of malicious activity.
  • Prioritize, analyze, escalate, and assist in remediating critical information security or other security incidents identified from security tools or through other sources.
  • Advise Information Security and IT personnel on operations, tuning, configuration and maintenance of security tools.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • 3+ years of security operations center experience
  • Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with enterprise security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, anti-malware, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft security tools such as Defender ATP, Intune, Azure ATP.
  • Experience with security scanners such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Acunetix Qualys etc. 
  • Knowledge of English language at intermediate level.

Nice to have/Optional

  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Experience with malware analysis
  • Experience with forensics analyses

Travel:

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including international, to visit offices in Russia, Israel, Mexico, and California.
