Enterprise Infrastructure (EI)
EI is the global technology group that delivers the software and hardware technology infrastructure solutions that make our businesses run. The team develops, engineers, and operates the Windows/Linux server and Desktop platforms, cross business systems/applications, data centers, voice and data networking solutions, wireless technologies, databases and mainframes.
As a Sr Developer for Windows Infrastructure Development, the successful candidate will collaborate with a global team of developers across NY, Montreal, Budapest and Shanghai. The team is responsible for the design, engineering, development, and deployment of the following key functions:
o Configuration Management System that can collect and maintain system data from Windows Desktops and Servers globally across the enterprise.
o Windows Build System, integrated with SCCM, to manage the build process for Windows Desktops and Servers globally across the enterprise.
Candidates do not need experience in ALL technologies, but should have proven full stack development experience in an Enterprise Infrastructure organization and have sound Windows Infrastructure knowledge i.e. know how the various system components and technologies fit together.
Responsible for project estimates, task management & balancing prioritization of incoming demand.
Excellent Global Communication & Coordination skills. Ability to engage with global team sand work toward scommon set of goals
Create partnership with Engineering, PDM, & Operations stakeholders across EUT.
Expectation management, issue resolution and status communications to stakeholders and senior management.
Team player. Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers. Ability to communicate and demonstrate ideas, and manage communication issues.
Ability to understand business requirements and turn into technical specs.
Application development using Object Oriented design principles (C#)
Strong Database & SQL Experience including Replication methods.
Design & Architecture of highly scalable software solutions for Config Mgmt and Build space
Evaluate Vendor vs Custom solutions as part of short term and long-term strategy.
Promote SDLC process including Agile methodologies including Sprint planning, Code Reviews, etc.
Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Automated Testing and Quality Control techniques.
Enforce Secure Development, Coding Standards, and Test Driven Development
Minimize Production Support with focus on reducing technical debt & legacy footprint.

Knowledge of support standards (e.g. ITIL)
Microsoft Azure Stack & AWS
Active Directory and LDAP knowledge
