Responsibilities

  • Transfer processes, products, lines and equipment.
  • Define the operating parameters from the engineering and operational point of view.
  • Design tooling, manufacturing drawings and assemblies applicable to the needs of the company.
  • Validate the material structures of the products, as well as the calculation of times and definition of the routines.
  • Implement productivity and efficiency measurement techniques, as well as improvements to process flows (Layouts).
  • Prepare and update when necessary the assembly and testing procedures of the products.
  • Prepare manuals and training material as well as teach courses.
  • Manage processes and projects so that they comply with safety, health and environmental guidelines as well as internal procedures.
  • Responsible to participate and meet the training programs.
  • Actively participation on cost reduction.
  • Comply with internal rules and all procedures and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Bilingual (English 90%)
  • At least 7 years of experience in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in design of assembly lines, including lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and plans.
  • Ability to recognize processes and various applications of engineering and technology in automated processes.
  • Computer drawing ability (Autocad, Solid Work). 
  • Ability to apply statistical techniques.
  • Ability to design assembly devices, tools, project management, 5`S and cost reduction projects.
