The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner (Manager) contributes to the companies best-in-class performance by providing support and guidance on employee, organizational development and talent acquisition strategies aligned to the business objectives, along with supervision of the HR Consultant and Talent Acquisition team. The Sr. HRBP (Manager) co-creates strategy and provides leadership and day to day direction to assigned HR reports. Best in class HR offerings and responsibilities are focused in the following areas: employee relations consultation, talent management, policy interpretation, design and application, performance management consultation, learning and development, employee engagement, succession planning and organization design.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities and accomplish/support the strategic and functional HR projects and initiatives within the area of HR focus.
  • Partner with department leadership to excel business outcomes and help manage human capital execution.
  • Support change management and transformation activities, striving to lead to best-in-class status.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR analytics support and business metrics/KPIs to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Lead annual, functional HR cycle deliverables in the areas of performance reviews, goal settings, talent evaluations/review and engagement survey response to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Evaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solutions and program designs such as retention efforts, training opportunities, etc.
  • Create a strong partnership with payroll and compensation departments to create aligned partnership in the execution of the day to day and solution driven changes where needed. 
  • Assist in developing and supporting culture efforts strongly aligned with the Marco Gold Standards. 
  • Active in supporting company growth including acquisitions of the business.
  • Leads efforts in people development and learning.
  • Provides guidance and support for the talent acquisition team and talent acquisition activity with and outcome of a strong performing human capital within the business. 
  • Advise and guide on the resolution of employee relations matters and performance issues.
  • Coordinate and manage multi-state compliance in relation to Federal, State, and local law requirements
  • Support companywide safety initiatives.
  • Strategically create, embrace, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related program that supports the success in the field of HR required
  • 8 years of general human resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of managing people experience
  • Direct Talent Management experience or managing Talent Acquisition teams preferred.
  • Strong command of HR/Employment laws (Federal, State and Local)

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, Outlook and function specific applications including HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Previous leadership experience. 
  • Superior internal and external customer service and communication skills.
  • Dedicated to the challenge of helping other people and creating a strong, positive culture
  • Strong ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters.
  • Excellent organizational and time/task management skills with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, client orientated team, supportive team
  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles and practice of HR including employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Proven business literacy skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Ability to make recommendation to effectively resolve problems or issues.
