Position Overview:

The Funraise marketing department is growing and we're looking for an amazing performance marketer to come and join the fun! The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with creating, executing, and monitoring marketing campaign elements. Are you a wizard with webinars? Amazing with AdWords? An expert with email?

If you're interested in putting your skills to good work—empowering nonprofits to do the best work in the world—then we want to hear from you. It'll also be handy if you are able to recognize The Office quotes as they come up in conversation (or at least not get too upset if your stapler winds up in a jello mold).

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Creating lead generation campaigns and tactics that delight everyone we encounter

  • Design multi-touch and nurture digital strategies

  • Optimize all pieces of the digital toolkit, including webpages and content

  • Own the analytics and performance of campaigns—be the wayfinder for our strategy

  • Google AdWords experience and/or expertise

  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Hands-on experience with Marketing CRM system to design and execute digital tactics

 

Requirements

  • Formal education in Marketing or related field is preferred but not required

  • 2+ years of Marketing experience with an emphasis on digital performance marketing

  • Experience with marketing tools or software including CRM, heatmaps, session recording, A/B testing, etc.

  • Experience designing and executing marketing tactics such as webinars, face-to-face events, podcasts, paid advertising, etc.

  • Happy disposition achieved through good personal balance

  • Extraordinary writing and editing skills, even in a time crunch

  • Understanding of the practical application of basic marketing principles and practices

  • Flexibility, especially when it comes to multi-tasking and shifting priorities

  • Passion for current digital trends and genuine curiosity about the future of technology

  • Skills to juggle several projects moving forward at once

  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision

Work Requirements

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and directions. Instructions may come from various departments/people but should always be confirmed through direct management team before action is taken.

  • Ability to work in shared, open-office environment. Accommodations will be made for privacy, noise reduction, etc. to the best of management’s ability but cannot be guaranteed. Quiet work spaces are available within the office and the building but cannot be guaranteed.

  • Comfort when working in an office environment with dogs. Our office building is pet-friendly and there are several dogs who come to work inside of our offices. Dogs are required to be current on vaccinations and be reviewed for temperament but behavior cannot be guaranteed, so all staff must be comfortable working in an environment where dogs exist and may or may not be leashed.

  • Any and all reasonable accommodations for work space environment will be made, including adjustable desks and chairs, stress padding for standing, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc. and any equipment that is necessary to the employee’s job that is not currently available can be specially requested through management.

  • This job may include some traveling to events and customer sites, as-needed. Employee should be able to travel domestically in the US and possess all necessary paperwork (ex: ID card, driver’s license, etc.). Should a passport be required to travel outside of the US, the organization may provide assistance with paperwork and costs.

  • This job may include some ad hoc tasks that include minor lifting or moving of boxes, desks, chairs, etc. (ex: relocating ordered items from the desk to the cabinet) Employees who are unable or uncomfortable doing these tasks should speak with their management.
