As a Networking Solution Technical Sales Architect (m/f), you will be driving the sales of Lenovo’s Solutions and Products into the Data Center environment.
What you will do:
As part of the Solutions Sales team, the Networking Solution Technical Sales Architect provides a deeper level of knowledge on data center networking and its benefit and value to IT infrastructure. This expertise is leveraged in sales opportunities that can drive significant revenue growth.
• Support revenue acquisition sales objectives for Lenovo’s networking
• Demonstrate executive relevance, and have ability to position complex solutions at technical as well as at senior IT and CxO levels through a solution-selling approach.
• Understand and articulate Lenovo’s vision, strategy and architectural approach to data center solutions, and demonstrate clear awareness of data center solutions market pressures, trends, and transitions.
To compete effectively, consultative technical sales expertise is required in
the following areas:
• Complex, multi-element Networking Solutions
• HyperConverged infrastructure offerings
• Cloud and Data Center Infrastructure Offerings
This position can be either located in our offices in Stuttgart and Essen or in a homeoffice location.
Who are we looking for:
• Possess a deep knowledge of the data center marketplace and can articulate
the benefits of networking technologies especially in support of converged,
hyper-converged and Software defined solutions.
• Providing technical consultancy to clients about Lenovo’s products and solutions for the data center with focus on networking and integration of server and storage solutions. Keeping customers up to date with new technologies and innovations relevant to their industry
• Lead and/or provide technical Input to Tenders/ RFIs/RFPs
• Minimum of 5+ years of successful customer-facing technical sales experience selling data center technologies with heavy focus on networking.
• Successful track record of creating, presenting and positioning networking products and supporting primary storage, HyperConverged, converged and/or server virtualization solutions directly to end customers and via reseller channels.
• Experienced in multi-level selling and comfortable in influencing CxOs, IT Directors, Systems Managers, IT Managers, etc .
• Have in-depth knowledge of competitors and the best sales strategy to compete against them
• Extensive regional travel required.
