The primary duties of this position are to direct and manage logistics with overall responsibility for import and export, local delivery, warehouse, third party and logistics warehouses, and other logistics-related activities. The candidate is responsible for maintaining logistics to achieve the function priorities and budgeted cost saving.

  • Establish Monthly KPIs and review regularly.
  • Lead and work as a team to implement a Global Freight Payment solution for the site.
  • Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities in freight and warehousing.
  • Lead team to implement a Global Freight Payment solution for the site.
  • Lead freight saving pipelines to meet the finance target of cost saving.
  • Support the team on trouble shooting and make decision when needed. Optimize the logistics process systematically.
  • Build and optimize warehouse process and maintain continuous improvement on warehouse activities, such as 5S, EHS to meet internal and external customer requirement and pass the customer audit smoothly.
  • Account for warehouse monthly cycle counting and annual stocktaking result. Meet the inventory accuracy target.
  • Build and develop a productive logistics and warehouse team. Plan/organize resources to meet organizational objectives. Establish people policies for warehouse operations.
  • Work with Facility team on warehouse space plan based on the volume growing.
  • Manage the forwarders and brokers for continuous improvement.
  • Establish and recommend changes to policy and procedures.
  • Build and maintain the relationship with government agencies, such as Customs, CIQ.
  • Build and improve the logistics handling procedure, including equipment import, material import and export, handbook management, freight audit process.

  • Work with finance on monthly freight analysis.
  • Advise functional groups on customs and export regulations.

  • Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Finance.
  • Above 5 Years of related working experience with at least 3 Years of management experience.
  • Experience in managing projects and developing teams of supervisors/specialist/coordinators.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with good sense in communications, negotiating with others, judgment and decision making, attention to detail, customer sensitivity, planning and organizing, and innovation.
  • Willing to take challenges with excellent execution ability.
  • Strong desire for continuous improvement in working flow and procedures optimization.
  • Extensive experience with Customs and the Import/Export procedures. Good knowledge of Custom law and regulations.
  • Expert in overall logistics processes and requirements including distribution process and inventory control systems.
  • Warehouse management experience is preferred.
  • Distribution network optimization experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings as a % of Revenue and TCA.
  • Strategic thinker capable of converting strategic and tactical plans into an action plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence.
  • Shown ability to build, manage, energize and motivate teams of employees.
  • Ability to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems – strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to positively influence and build relationships with global team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with complex project attributes. Good time management skills.
  • Self-starter capable to lead matrix teams.
