The JDE Manufacturing lead within the (HST) Healthcare Systems and Technologies segment will act as a functional and technology leader for the ERP Plan-to-Make domain delivering the functional capabilities required by the business. This role will provide the strategic leadership and consultation required to create and sustain optimal processes. As a leader, you will challenge existing practices by leveraging your prior experiences, business partner feedback and external service providers. Plan-to-Make is a critical enabler within the HST segment especially considering the complexities in channel sales, contracting mechanisms, service offerings and evolving pricing models based on changes in the healthcare landscape. This is a great position to transform a company through the application of digital technologies and the enabling of future business models to drive our top-line growth.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for partnering with the business and external parties to differentiate the necessity of business requirements and map them to an integrated set of solutions to meet the needs of the business.
  • Accountable for developing and designing solutions across the record-to-report process landscape leveraging external service providers as needed and striving for commonality in processes when there is limited value in differentiating.
  • Responsible for understanding and acting on the integration points of Plan-to-Make with adjacent process areas, such as commercial, quality, regulatory, finance, etc.
  • Proactively consult with your business partners on opportunities to create value in the business.
  • Own the Plan-to-Make technology strategy for enabling critical capabilities across the global segment.
  • Understand the HST go-to-market strategies and constantly be at the forefront of understanding how the company is differentiating itself from competitors and how that translates to capabilities required in Plan-to-Make processes.
  • Drive curiosity across the ERP team to understand technology offerings in the market and how the changing healthcare landscape is driving HST needs. Act as an influencer to your business counterparts on enabling technologies within Plan-to-Make.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in Plan-to-Make processes, including at least 5 years within life sciences or healthcare, with specific experience in enabling processes with JDE as a technology foundation.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a leadership role for Plan-to-Make and related teams.
  • Multiple years of demonstrated leadership of complex global implementations.
  • Experience with ancillary products and integrations that are enablers to Plan-to-Make processes, such as planning optimizers, eDHR, shop floor automation, quality systems, plant maintenance and other capabilities to transform how we drive improvements in our operations.
  • Comfortable operating across a matrixed organization (IT and business) to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong blend of business process knowledge and functional depth.
  • Significant partnership experience with large technology system integrators.
  • Curiosity and constant awareness of the latest trends in healthcare to create opportunities for the company, including direct-to-consumer models, IoT in manufacturing, 3D printing, and other components of Industry 4.0 that are relevant to us.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with comfort presenting to executive leadership.
  • Experience in agile project delivery methodology.

Prior participation in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies with prior formal training
