Graphic Designer

Honeywell

SPS Retail seeks a Mid-Level Graphic Designer with up-to-date knowledge in
Adobe CC programs, particularly Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and
Illustrator). We’re looking for someone who can take direction from an
external, U.S., east-coast based team, and work independently to cooperation with the creative manager, other designers and marketing team. The position requires
cooperation with the creative manager, other designers and marketing team,
while working on a variety of projects including, but not limited to: print and
digital ads, product packaging, trade show banners, in-store graphics, and POP
displays. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly develop a strong
understanding and application of the Honeywell DLS corporate identity. Strongly
desired: having an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work,
especially in the retail sector, to support our footwear and personal
protection lines including, Muck, Xtratuf, Oliver, Servus Boots, Honeywell
Personal Protection Products and Howard Leight Shooting Sports.



We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will need to
hit the ground running.


·        Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design/Communication Design.

·        4+ years in a professional commercial design setting, preferably
within a marketing department or creative agency.

·        Advanced knowledge of Adobe CC Suite, MS Office, experience in
video editing would be a bonus.

·        Excellent communication and strong organization skills.

·        Work simultaneously on multiple projects based on current client
workload.

·        Create visual aspects of marketing materials, print and digital
assets.

·        Capable of picking up a project started by another team member,
such as photo editing and other layout/design components.

·        Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting and sales teams to
create cohesive designs that reflect our clients’ corporate cultures and goals.


·        Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and
clients.
