As part of the Aladdin platform, eFront delivers an end-to-end solution for Asset Owners / LPs, Asset Managers / GPs, and Asset Servicers to handle private market portfolios. The platform streamlines operations gives investors access to accurate and standardized data, and optimizes communication between market participants.

About the team:

The Aladdin Product team sits at the heart of the Aladdin business, responsible for crafting, building, and operating Aladdin & eFront. Being a member of our product management team within Aladdin Product means working with the most innovative in the industry to build products that craft financial markets. We are passionate about using technology to address our clients’ toughest problems.

As a member of the eFront Insight product team, you’ll be closely connected with the marketplace, our client community, and BlackRock's business strategy to drive product direction.

Sitting at the intersection of data ops business and technology, our team works closely with developers and users to innovate, conceptualize, design, and pilot new capabilities to streamline and automate our Insight data services, foster accurate data for our analytics clients, and integrate our data factory with eFront operating platform and Aladdin for our Whole Portfolio offering.

Product Managers within this team produce requirements that enable eFront data factory tools to be developed with high quality and efficiency, to deliver a better user experience to our data ops team and deliver higher quality data faster to our clients. In this role, you will partner closely with business users, product managers, and engineers to ensure harmonization between business requirements and technical specifications. We are looking for a Product Manager to focus on our outstanding private markets data and analytics platform, eFront Insight Core! About the role:

Work with project managers, product managers, technical leads, business owners, and developers throughout the whole SDLC. Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop specifications for both near and longer-term solutions.

Produce key artifacts including business and functional requirement documents, user acceptance test plans, and test cases.

Develop a deep understanding of the market, users, business problems, and opportunities.

Attend all key agile development ceremonies such as stand-ups, backlog grooming, planning, demos, and retrospectives.

About you:

3+ years within Private Markets reporting, data processing, client engagement, or equivalent.

Strong interpersonal, networking, problem-solving, and planning skills, including the ability to balance opposing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and communicate up and down the organization.

Ability to set and maintain priorities in a multi-task environment. Experience in product demos, presentations, and user training.

Ability to work and deliver results independently, self-starter.

Investment Management domain knowledge/experience is a requirement, as well as an understanding of financial technology solutions addressing Private Markets.

Proficiency working with both technical developers and financial modelers as well as business leaders and target end users. Familiarity with agile product development life cycle preferred.
