General Responsibilities
Job Description – Cabling Engineer
- Lead and manage cabling design for existing and new data centers for our client
- Collaborate closely with the global Data Center Infrastructure Cabling Engineering team to ensure global design consistency.
- Prepare technical tender documents and specifications (design drawings, scope of work, cabling design criteria, tender price sheets).
- Work with the client procurement team to issue RFPs, conduct tender interviews, manage clarifications, and provide vendor recommendation reports.
- Coordinate with internal technology teams (Network, Server, Security, etc.) to gather cabling requirements.
- Manage project budgets, cabling vendors, shop drawing reviews, procurement, logistics, installation schedules, testing, and handover.
- Complete project closeout including O&M manuals and as-built drawings.
- Plan and manage new or changed cabling requirements in existing data centers.
- Maintain cabling records (patching and patch panel records) during live operations.
- Support data center operations including moves, changes, consumables sourcing, and material stock control.
Working Hours
- Standard office hours (no shift work).
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work required to oversee installations, testing, and handovers.
- 20 days of annual leave per year.
Product & Technical Knowledge
- Panduit Cat6A copper and fiber (OS2, OM4+) products; high-density fiber cassette solutions.
- Panduit / CPI racks and cabinets; patching frames or equivalent.
- Fluke Network Instruments (DSX-5000 or DSX-8000 Cable Analyzer).
- ISO/TIA-based testing standards and industry best practices.
- LC, MPO/MTP interfaces for single-mode and multi-mode fiber solutions.
- Experience with Cisco and Arista equipment is a plus.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills; experience working across Asia is an advantage.
- Proactive and strong coordination skills.
Skills Desired
- International cabling certifications (e.g., RCDD).
- Data center experience; financial services industry background is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of live data center environments and constraints.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure.

勤務条件
- 通常のオフィス勤務時間（シフトなし）。
- 施工立ち会い、試験対応のため夜間・週末対応が発生する場合あり。
- 年間有給休暇 20 日。
製品・技術要件
- Panduit Cat6A 銅線および光ファイバー（OS2、OM4+）、高密度ファイバーソリューション経験。
- Panduit / CPI ラック・キャビネット、配線フレームまたは同等製品。
- Fluke DSX-5000 / 8000 ケーブルアナライザー使用経験。
- ISO/TIA 試験基準および業界ベストプラクティス。
