Director of Finance

The Director of Finance reports to the VP of Finance and supports Sarcos in driving growth and maximizing profitability and cash flow by taking data, turning it into information, and driving the right actions. Provides timely, accurate, and relevant financial reporting, analysis, and recommended actions.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Owns the budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning processes in close coordination with the VP of Finance
  • Produces timely, accurate, and relevant reports on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly), including insightful variance analysis
  • Leads preparation of dashboard and other materials for Board and Executive Staff
  • Works closely with Assistant Controller to produce timely, accurate, and relevant monthly reporting package
  • Plays a key role in ERP and other system implementations to ensure ability to efficiently produce timely, accurate, and relevant reporting and analysis
  • Works collaboratively with other functions to support company objectives

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of finance experience with proven track record of success in positions of increasing responsibility
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems, and extract and manipulate required data
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and experience leading and managing highly quantitative, complex analyses

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Work is performed Monday through Friday with occasional overtime and weekend requirements
  • Safety awareness is absolutely essential at all times while in the work area
  • Must be able to stand and sit for extended times
