Industrial Controller

The role of an Industrial Controller is to controll labor costs (direct and indirect), in order to ensure relaiable FCST and to provide explanations to any potencial deviation vs. FCST and budget. Next to that Industrial Controller is responsible for the compliance with the internall controll regulations and for the preparation for the internall audit (ICB). 

The main missions of the role are:

Labor Costs Management :

  • Follow evolution of direct and indirect labor costs on regular basis
  • Prepare reliable estimates and FCST of direct and indirect labor costs
  • Organize PIC meeting with all the affected departments (Prod., Log., ME, QS, HR) to prepare a FCST of direct labor force need for the next 6-12 months
  • Controll and validate the FCST and budget of the DLE
  • Challenge the deviations in the DLE, OT and provide explanations
  • Follow-up the MOI FCST and the deviations to budget together with HR
  • Prepare MOI budget together with HR
  • Calculate average hourly rates and average monthly salary costs and cooperate with program controllers
  • Provide calculations and analysis prior to salary increases in order to avoid any deviation of the average rate vs. budget /FCST
  • Follows up travel costs and ensure correct pay outs of the travel advances and the collection of any potential overpayment
  • Responsible for the calculation of MOI/MOD recharges
  • Provides required documentation and analysis for the purpose of annual/monthly audit
  • Responsible for calculation and posting of all MOI/MOD accruals
  • Contribute to the Budget process in his/her perimeter
  • Monthly reporting in reporting system & group official reports for his/her perimeter in respect of deadlines.
  • Employee is informed about Code of Ethics, Code of Management and Being Faurecia philosophy and is respecting and following it
  • Employee is aware of the sensitivity of the HR data and keeps all the obtained information strictly confidential

Internall Controll :

  • Performs regular checks of the internal procedures to ensure a compliance with ICB rules
  • Suggests improvements of the internal processes which are not in line with ICB
  • Supports during ICB self-assesment and ICB audit

Reports to :

  • Plant Controller direct reporting line.
  • Main contact with HR local and country.
  • Main contact for SSC AP (employee receivables, payables).

Education

  • Masters or Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent

Professional experience (years and area of experience)

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in finance / controlling environment
  • Industrial experience and strong accounting knowledge (automotive a plus) 

Professional knowledge

  • Czech legislation and legal requirements
  • Strong sense of teamwork 
  • Business minded 
  • Results orientation with strong written and oral communications skills 
  • Computer literate
  • Self-starter

Language knowledge level (e.g.fluent for daily communication on a proffesional level, intermidiate for internal communication, basic communication within the team, technical terminology knowledge, as an advantage but not necessary)

  • English fluent for daily communication on a profesional level 
  • Czech / German / French – as an advantage

PC skills

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • SAP
