SUMMARY:

The Senior Director, Global Sourcing manages the initiatives for Application Development and Maintenance Outsourcing (ADM) services.  Such services include application development, application maintenance and support, software deployment (implementation), software configuration, and Software-as-a-Service. The incumbent engages third-party providers on the behalf of various Business Units and COEs.  This includes supporting the global outsourcing strategy, developing outsourcing / right sourcing solution models, performing associated pricing analysis, negotiating terms / pricing, assisting with vendor governance activities, and conducting market and vendor research.   This position will also negotiate IT infrastructure outsourcing (ITO) agreements in support of the global outsourcing strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, prepare, and negotiate pricing and contractual business terms and conditions for new outsourced services contracts, contract renewals, and amendments 
  • Perform pricing analysis and solution evaluation for tactical outsourcing opportunities
  • Manage projects related to contracting activities between multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Redline business and legal terms
  • Manage the RFx process including requirements gathering, vendor control/management, evaluation process, and final down-selection and contracting
  • Conduct research associated with all aspects of outsourcing (e.g., tactical opportunity evaluation, strategy development, initiative execution)
  • Support global sourcing strategy development, refinement, and execution
  • Process end to end contract management
  • Develop contract governance framework
  • Resolve vendor management issues
  • Enable achievement of targeted cost savings for the global sourcing initiatives
  • Establish vendor management framework including delivery center set-up, SLA based performance management, and transition oversight
  • Negotiate IT Consulting agreements
  • Support software licensing negotiations

EDUCATION and KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from 4 year college / university or equivalent experience; Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) and / or Project Management Certification (PMP) a plus
  • 7-10 years’ experience contract management experience; experience working for a global organization; international project experience is a plus
  • Experience in IT infrastructure outsourcing (ITO) experience including Colocation and Cloud based solutions; knowledge of contractual business and legal terms as used in IT services engagements and ability to redline in accordance with company requirements 
  • Deep ADM and Infrastructure support knowledge including demonstrable experience of various outsourcing solutions (Outsource, Captive, Shared Services knowledge is preferable)
  • Ability to understand financial transactions; demonstrated experience negotiating pricing and business terms
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully managing/interfacing with vendors; broad analytical skills to help resolve vendor management issues, conduct research, pricing analysis
  • Deep and comprehensive perspective on industry challenges gained by networking with experienced industry peers and colleagues; understanding of market environments and emerging trends relating to complex contract negotiations and contract development;
  • Ability to gather/document requirements and develop statements of work
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to coordinate across multiple projects / programs; experience with SDLC and Waterfall / Agile Methodologies
  • Executive level interaction/ presentation skills; ability to interact with key decisions-makers within own function and across related functions to successfully navigate Equifax’s matrixed organization, involving others across the organization as needed
  • Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise to operate independently and provide informal leadership to others; strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve processes or services; make recommendations guided by policies in nonstandard situations that impact the achievement of customer or project objectives that require a carefully calculated risk
  • Travel within North America and International
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required, especially Word, Excel, and Power Point
