What To Expect
Project Management within the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHS&S) organization will facilitate efficient department functionality by providing fundamental services, developing strategic processes, and sustaining a cohesive management system framework. You will serve as a key point of contact for EHS&S stakeholders regarding organizational functionality and collaboration matters. This role requires you to operate as a leader and change agent through influence, driving operational improvement while managing projects across multiple teams and locations. Additionally, this role will act as a liaison between the EHS&S team and other Tesla internal business operations verticals such as finance, purchasing, and accounts payable to ensure the organizations needs are met while providing other teams with the visibility they require for their planning. You will conduct data-driven research and analysis to anticipate critical business needs and translate insights into actionable initiatives. Success in this position depends on your ability to build cross-functional relationships, communicate effectively at all levels, and adapt to an ever-changing business environment.
What You'll Do
Own and execute projects end-to-end, including scope management, stakeholder coordination, task delegation, progress tracking, and timeline management
Identify operational gaps and drive innovative solutions by engaging cross-functional teams and key stakeholders; facilitate internal communication and coordination for effective collaboration across multiple locations and groups
Create and maintain tracking tools, reports, presentations, and data visualizations to communicate project progress, impacts, barriers, and solutions to leadership; manage SharePoint sites including creation, permissions, structure, and ongoing maintenance
Conduct data-driven research and analysis to anticipate critical business needs and translate findings into actionable initiatives
Manage end-to-end operational training coordination including vendor relations, scheduling, budget tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting on training metrics
Provide purchasing support including guidance, purchase order creation, invoice management, payment resolution, and adherence to purchasing policies
Support global contract compliance efforts including tracking of terms, renewal dates, scope, and expenditures
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Mathematics, or equivalent experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in project management including task creation, delegation, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication
Proven ability to communicate effectively and deliver clear, compelling, and concise messages to diverse audiences including leadership
Experience with data analysis, report generation, and creating visual presentations of project and program status
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot charts, formulas, and data presentation; ability to interpret and synthesize complex data sets
Evidence of creative problem-solving with the ability to learn new skills and best practices independently; ability to build collaborative relationships across functions and act as a liaison between teams
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to changing business needs

Expected Compensation
$72,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
