Position Overview

Autodesk Inc. is looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer to join an exciting team of professionals who build some of the most advanced 3D animation solutions for designers, visualization specialists, game and film artists.

  • Create, propose and support facilities that sustainably improve the productivity of the entire team while promoting the quality of our products
  • Contribute to the product code base and help with its packaging and deployment for internal or customers use
  • Work along with a diverse group of motivated experts that will help you grow a variety of valuable skills through your assignments


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of related professional experience
  • Proven collaboration skills within and beyond the boundaries of a cross-functional agile team
  • Methodical and quality-minded continuous learner
  • Enjoys working on a variety of tasks and teams
  • Has a knack for understanding and improving existing code
  • Solid C++ and Python skills backed by excellent architectural and troubleshooting skills
  • Git/GitHub expertise
  • Strong unit testing, refactoring and code reviewing skills
  • Willingness to work on-site at our Montréal offices


Preferred Qualifications

  • Integration and contribution to open source libraries
  • Software development under the Windows platform
  • Other programming languages (e.g. C#, Ruby, Perl)
  • Orchestration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Team City)
  • Installer technology (e.g. Wix, Install Shield)
  • Virtualization technologies (e.g. Docker, AWS)
  • Mastery of artifact and package management systems (e.g. Artifactory, NuGet, Gems)
