The Opportunity

Nutanix Hybrid Cloud (Prism and Nutanix Central) Product team is looking for an experienced Technical Product Management professional with superior leadership, analytical and influencing skills to be part of our dynamic and growing team. This role of a Senior PM will be responsible for driving our initiatives related to Datacenter Configuration , Monitoring and Telemetry. The goal is to address the needs of our customers who want to seamlessly configure their datacenters and monitor it with Alerts, Logs, Telemetry in a well-integrated central Nutanix cloud platform.

About the Team

The Product Management team for Nutanix Hybrid Cloud is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, working on the goal of Building, Operating and Monitoring Distributed Nutanix Hybrid Cloud easy for our customers. The team is led by Ranjit Sawant, a seasoned product management leader with extensive experience in the DataCentre Management space. The Platform team collaborates closely with other services and cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that our customers get the seamless “Single Piece of Glass” management experience. Working in this team comes with the opportunity to define a single operating model to manage Distributed Hybrid Cloud.

Your Role

• Help define and execute strategy and roadmap for Nutanix Platform Services in Configuration, Observability and Telemetry, with a focus on reimagining the current capabilities in Nutanix Prism and Nutanix Central to evolve to the next level for our customers.
• Regular outreach and synthesis of customer feedback into prioritized requirements.
• Write detailed market requirements and product requirement documents (PRDs)
• Responsible for complete product delivery - Coordinate with cross functional teams
• Build and Drive Consensus / Clarity
• Track, manage, and report on KPIs.
• Motivate and Influence, Evangelize, Provide customer advocacy and briefings
• Provide ongoing field support as needed to drive high customer satisfaction
• Author, build, and maintain compelling internal and external facing collateral

What You Will Bring

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields. MBA is nice to have.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure services ( IaaS, PaaS)
• Hands on experience with Cluster management, Certificate management, Alerts, Task Management, Telemetry services, Log management.
• 8+ years of product management experience
• Attention to detail in executing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives.
• Proven ability to influence geographically distributed teams and deliver on commitments
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
• High energy and excellent teamwork skills
• Have a bias for action and demonstrate ownership

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
