Talent Acquisition Specialist, Graduate Programs

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Group segments, Residential Business and Perimeter Security are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Graduate Programs). This position’s primary responsibility is to identify and develop a credible, diverse pipeline of professionals, skilled employees, and other team members to meet ASSA ABLOY Residential Business & Perimeter Security Segment’s ongoing business needs. The Talent Acquisition Specialist (Graduate Programs) will work with both Human Resources teams and the functions they support by leveraging ongoing graduating talent acquisition activities, aggressive talent identification and recruiting processes, and creative new initiatives to ensure there is enough talent to meet the larger organization's short- and long-term talent needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with key stakeholders (university career placement leaders, business leaders, HR partners) to determine future talent demand and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels where we can find the best talent.
  • Sourcing graduates with the desired talents for opportunities in finance, IT, engineering, supply chain, operations, sales, marketing, etc.
  • Connecting with applicants and potential candidates to identify talent and build pipelines.
  • Building candidate relationships through extensive interaction and diligent follow-up
  • Recruiting and interviewing candidates to qualify them for opportunities.
  • Cultivate a pipeline of talent including using job postings, recruiting marketing channel development, job board procurement, and recruitment campaigns leveraging our talent brand.
  • Actively source graduate candidates through direct connections at universities throughout the United States
  • Source and screen passive candidates to evaluate qualifications, consult with the hiring managers to present candidates, and assist in the interview and selection process as directed.
  • Partner with HR team to ensure diverse representation is supported on all candidate pools.
  • Provide regular reporting to Vice President on the flow of talent.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
  • Representative of ASSA ABLOY and HR Team is all facets of social media and companywide communication.
  • This person has to be comfortable recruiting locally, regionally, nationally and potentially internationally. Creative, big personality that can command a group of recruiters and handle the pressure of dealing with the demands on site managers and directors.
  • Be adept at all facets of modern recruiting and cutting-edge talent acquisition techniques.

You will also play a lead role in the development and implementing of a dual-divisional rotational development program for new or recent graduates. This program would be designed to attract, develop and retain high potential talent. Our vision is to develop a one-year program wherein participates will have the opportunity to rotate through different departments and businesses in their chosen career path.

The skills and experience you need:

  • A bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Discovery skills to find what the true needs are behind the qualification bullet points.
  • Desire to work as a part of a vibrant, growing HR organization and be the tip of the spear on bringing in top tier talent to the organization.
  • Interview savvy to uncover the talent and potential buried in resume text.
  • Relentless approach to daily work and the grit to see it through.
  • Proven ability to interact professionally and authentically with candidates.
