In this role, you will be part of a multi-national team within a global R&D organization and will work in close collaboration with other talented teams to deliver industry-leading solutions in cancer care.

You will be responsible for engaging stakeholders (e.g., Project Managers, Test Architects, and V&V Leads, etc.) to understand the validation deliverables, environments, and tools required to support R&D activities. You will coordinate the successful validation of products according to applicable medical device and health software regulations. Your project management or clinical skills will allow you to contribute in defining requirements, coordinating reviews with engineering experts, documenting processes, and communicating with stakeholders in a timely manner.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provides organizational leadership to the team, including hiring, development, evaluation, and coaching for direct reports in a multi-site/multi-country setup
  • Directs the activities of the Validation team and provides leadership support to ensure required deliverables are met.
  • Collaborates with other teams/individuals at project, process, and personnel levels to ensure deliverables are met and to identify/enact improvement opportunities.
  • Identifies and supports personal and team development opportunities.
  • Develops and proposes relevant processes, methods & tools to improve the quality of products.
  • Defines goals and objectives and measures employee performance against defined objectives.
  • Provides periodic reports and metrics to senior management. Supports project managers on the optimal use of resources within the projects.
  • Participates in the relevant project work.

Requirements

  • M.Sc. Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent and solid understanding of software development process, OR Medical Physicist or Radiation Therapist degree with relevant clinical work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of team management and/or leadership experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English, both in written and spoken.
  • Equipped with an international mindset and an aptitude to get things done.
