The Colgate University Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for a part-time position working with the field hockey team.

AccountabilitiesAssist Colgate’s field hockey team at practices and competitions. Job duties include but are not limited to skill instruction.

Responsible for execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within assigned sport or area. These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas:

  • adhere to Head Coach’s philosophy
  • athletic instruction/coaching
  • program operations and administration as designated by head coach
  • game scouting and coding of opponents
  • post game analytics
  • assist with camps and clinics
  • recruitment of student athletes

Responsible for role modeling behaviors and leadership for student-athletes.

Requirements

Professional Experience/ Qualifications1-3 years of experience in coaching or participation in field hockey.

Preferred Qualifications

EducationBachelor’s degree required.

Physical Requirements

Other InformationA current valid driver’s license, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, is required.
