Division Overview:
The Justice Information Technology Services (JITS) serves the Montana Department of Justice (DOJ) and provides Information Technology (IT) services which Montanans, local, county, and state law enforcement agencies rely on for timely, and accurate information. JITS works directly to support law enforcement, prosecutorial, gaming, and forensics operations that serve the citizens of Montana. At JITS we work to secure and enhance operations within DOJ. Job Overview:
The Cybersecurity Architect ensures that security requirements necessary to protect the DOJ mission and business processes are addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture. The incumbent will work to implement security controls in support of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Participate in system planning and design, risk assessments, technical audits, problem resolution, and collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure security functions are integrated into all phases of the system lifecycle. Mentor junior information technology personnel on best practices, and security trends.
Minimum Qualifications:
Other combinations of education, certification or experience may be substituted.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with building network and application security solutions typically found in an enterprise-level IT infrastructure.
