SAP PartnerEdge is the programmatic foundation of SAP’s partner relationships and the basis for our overall partner business, driving more than 30% of SAP’s overall SW revenue. To help maintain this level of excellence, the SAP PartnerEdge organization is setting up a shared service team to manage partner due diligence (DD) data collection and management related to partner’s recruitment and ongoing due diligence requirements within SAP Partner programs.  This role will work closely with corporate compliance, partner recruiters and partner managers and other Partner Program Due Diligence Specialists.   Successful candidates would also be responsible for ensuring partner DD records within SAP systems were up to date and SAP partners and their sales team coming to the end of their DD validity period would have necessary notifications and support to ensure a smooth renewal process.  Successful applicants would also be expected to communicate directly with partners to generate the required information and act professionally and ethically.  Report creation and analysis of activities will also be required for management reporting requirements. Having Chinese, Japanese or Russian language skills would be a plus.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Manage DD process for newly recruited partners and renewal every 2 years
  • Compile all required DD documentation (Dow Jones report, Credit questionnaire, partner forms, DD level 2 check, …), coordinate DD level 2 activities with 3rd party agency including Pos, check data quality / consistency and upload in DD system for compliance approval
  • Manage system updates (PRM, DD system) and next Partner Lifecycle actions in alignment with compliance decision
  • Recognize and escalate any red flags/discrepancies to the relevant compliance teams.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring partners complete compliance training and web assessments
  • Provides regular updates to Due Diligence Manager on risk assessment outcomes, and performs ongoing monitoring of key DD activities within assigned responsibilities
  • Demonstrates proactive engagement to address identified risks and escalate as required
  • Develops and maintains fundamental network to collaborate effectively within DD team and with other contact persons (in other business units)
  • Uses his/her solid understanding in terms of concepts, practices, procedures and tools of Risk Management to accomplish the job
  • Uses his/her solid understanding in terms of SAP strategy, SAP products, ecosystem and organization to accomplish the job
  • Presents messages/work results to cross-functional colleagues and managers by applying fundamental communication skills
  • Advises junior level employees on DD matters with low to moderate complexity

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Typically 3+ years business experience in legal, finance or risk management or relevant business required with increasing amount of responsibility
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills
  • We are looking for various language competencies (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese)
  • University Degree (e.g. in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, IT/Computer Science or Law)
