The Opportunity

In this role the Indirect Procurement Analyst will be responsible for training the business with on-boarding indirect suppliers, requesting Purchase Orders (POs), and spend analytics to identify new sourcing opportunities.  This includes refining supplier spend categorization, researching POs, invoices, contracts, while supporting the suppliers and business owners through training enhancements and process optimization.  The Indirect Procurement Analyst will also manage department communications through Workplace, the Egencia Travel site, department email inbox, and enhance content for training sessions and employee orientation and on-boarding efforts.

Other responsibilities include assisting with Coupa, Apttus, SAP, and other systems for preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and assisting with training initiatives on these tools.

The qualified candidate must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be passionate about the value that Procurement brings to the company.  The position supports the Indirect Sourcing function, reports directly to the Director of Indirect Sourcing and Procurement.


  • Facilitate the RFP process and provide business owners guidance in the buying of goods and services; client groups include but not limited to HR, Legal, Finance, Technology, and Marketing departments
  • Conduct key analyses of spend by category, supplier fragmentation, and internal benchmarking
  • Identifies new information sources, cost drivers, price models, and risks to enhance negotiations
  • Responsible for the day-to-day procurement activities, including PO creation, editing, coding, and workflow
  • Review contracts for validity, scope, and business updates and draft contract extensions, amendments, etc.
  • Train business owners on procurement, legal, and Finance policies and systems
  • Maintain communication tools and documentation for suppliers and business partners
  • Understands the competitive landscape of suppliers and works with them as equals to drive mutual value and commercial outcomes
  • Collaborate with Indirect Sourcing team to continuously improve best practices while ensuring procurement processes and policies are in in alignment with sourcing strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to optimize process and technology
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Indirect Sourcing team


  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration)
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in Indirect Procurement
  • Experience with Coupa, Apttus, eSourcing modules, and SAP preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented work ethic
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills are critical; ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to solve problems and answer questions with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, such as Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
