Securly currently has a career opportunity for a Technical Project Manager for our Pune office.  As a Technical Project Manager, you will provide best-fit solutions for one or more projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work. You will provide solution for the technical business problem, employ best practices for agile methodology utilizing both the Scrum and Kanban framework, while operating within the departments overall SDLC Framework.

The Technical Project Manager will provide technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.

 

Skills:
 
  • 10+ years of overall experience working on multiple IT platforms 
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills, and ability to strategically partner with multiple technical and business teams 
  • Should be a self-starter, highly motivated, innovative and have a proven track record of handling multiple production environments for a large user base 
  • Should be able to lead change, and work in a deeply exciting environment 
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, and excellent project management skills
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment with an understanding of how to set and manage team priorities.
  • Experience with software lifecycle (build, test and release). Understanding of scalable, distributed, always on systems
  • Familiarity with front-end and backend web technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Ability to define needs, develop plans, coordinate engineering resources, and implement action plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously and to resolve scheduling and other conflicts to meet deadlines.
  • BS degree or higher in CS or in related field 
Responsibilities:
  • Employ best practices for agile methodology utilizing both the Scrum and Kanban framework, while operating within the departments overall SDLC Framework 
  • Work collaboratively with a team of ​developers  and the ​Product owner to deliver projects on time
  • ​Co-ordinate projects across  multi location teams
  • Motivate and support project team members.
  • Ensure they have the tools and knowledge to do their job and that all blocking issues are resolved quickly 
  • Create self-organizing agile teams. Facilitate the delegation of tasks and responsibilities among team members 
  • Engage business/product owners in the creation of user stories and requirements. Refine user stories for development consumption, and maintain an accurate backlog 
  • Act as Facilitator for sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint demos and refactoring/reflection sessions 
  • Communicate project status via Agile Reporting Guidelines to all internal stakeholders and continuously refine/improve metrics by working with the team; Escalate issues that require executive attention
