Role Summary:

Market Requirements Analyst role is to provide analysis of current competitive landscape and highlight trends for improving future vehicles. This is done through competitive research and experiencing competitive vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:

Competitor Analysis (100%)

  • Study competitor cars with respect to technical features in the market
  • Create summaries and presentations about technical market analysis comprising e.g. market segmentation, geographic and climatic characteristics, competitor cars and their accessories, technical features in the markets, and price ranges
  • Conduct in depth analyses and comparisons of USA automotive market
  • Collect and name suppliers for competitor cars
  • Assist in generating USA Competitor Analysis Highlight reports
  • Review vehicles in person to determine competitive advantages and top feature executions

Qualifications

Preferred Major:

  • Currently attending classes for bachelor's in engineering and similar major

Skills: General skills needed to perform the job

  • Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Excellent communication skills – interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Computer savvy – skilled in the use of software (MS-Applications, …)
  • Self starting and self motivated
  • Good administrative skills : ability to plan, develop a structure and priorities (Time management)
  • Strong analytical skills (root cause analysis)
  • Work in cross functional teams
  • Ability to think in wider scope
  • Technical detail evaluation

Specialized Skills: Knowledge or certifications unique to this role

  • General knowledge of automotive industry: industry trends & competitive environment
  • German skills written and verbal are advantageous
  • Spanish skills written and verbal are advantageous
