What are we looking for?

The Proposal manager role requires the ability to enable delivery of high quality proposals to Atos customers by managing Atos past proposal database and enabling reusability of the content

Process Managers for the scope will be part of IDM’ Global Solutions Organization. They will support global (GSSE) pursuits, but also pursuits in the GBUs (long term plan). The team is being piloted with 2 Proposal Managers, but is expected to grow in numbers over time. Synergies within the team should be built to enable seamless support of the pursuits by team (e.g. each person can back up each other in getting proposal responses out on time)

Role Responsibilities:

The objectives of the role

  1. Content Management
  • Collects, prepares, uploads and maintains content in the Library for proposals, presentations, RFP/RFQ/RFI answers, sales assets, etc.
  • Incorporates relevant feedback from users
  • Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts/Reviewers to keep content relevant and up to date;
  • Ensures corporate standards for style and format are applied to content
  • Creates reports and/or analytics to monitor content usage and effectiveness
  • Provides with content for different document types;
  • Identifies and fills content gaps
  • Works with training team to train new user and run other ad hoc training and provides internal demos

  1. Document Designing/creation
  • Create document types (pre-defined templates such as proposals, account/opportunity plans, SOWs) for users
  • Works with content to associate/map content to document types;
  • creates and maintains merge codes and may work with System Administrator for merge code mapping if Salesforce integration is used

  1. System Administration
  • Responsible for the configuration and set up of the tool
  • Creating and maintaining users and roles;
  • may create reports and/or set up content analytics;
  • may also be responsible for working with technical services to implement Single Sign On (SSO).
  1. Coordination of Tool Supplier
  • Maintain License information (including list of authorised users)
  • Liaise with supplier regarding issues and availability
  • Act as point of contact for tool users

  • Should have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Worked with RFP response team for IT contracts to understand the RFP response mechanism
  • IT industry knowledge around IDM related services
  • Has experience managing collaboration tools, SharePoint type systems to understand system admin process
  • Has worked on documentation creating roles

Desirable Skills

What skills benefit the role holder, but could be upskilled if they do not currently possess them

  • Experience with Qvidian or other Proposal Automation Software
