We now have an exciting opportunity for a talented R&D professional to join our Growth Chocobakery team in the role of Group Leader/R&D Manager. The role of Group Leader will be managing a team who will be looking after projects in the Biscuit category with main focus on the successful ChocoBakery business in the MEU region, under the Milka Brand, leading the development opportunities that sits in between of Chocolate and Biscuits categories. Priorities will be even changing in our fast paced industry and organisation and so we are seeking for a candidate that will easily flex priorities and resources to react to varying workloads across the teams.
The role involves full responsibility of the people development as well as the delivery of the project portfolio assigned to the team, portfolio related to innovation, renovation, Quality Improvement and Margin activities for the Chocobakery platform in MEU under Milka ( Cookies, Biscuits, Wafers technologies ), so to have a contrasted and strong bakery experience in key companies of the same food category is highly required. This role will be expected to significantly influence the development of strategic plans and initiatives and will lead cross functional teams to resolve technical and business challenges.
This role is accountable for planning, leading and co-ordinating project portfolio so is a must to have significant previous experience in successful project management. The role will deliver the expert technical knowledge for your R&D function in the Biscuit category, and will have to develop technical solutions to problems, ensure compliance to technical policies & procedures, deliver the technical input to address business needs and have a clear priority mindset to promote Consumer Inspired Quality initiatives.
