Content Marketing Manager

Who we are:

Headquartered in downtown Seattle, we're an agile, fast-growing startup, and our leadership comes from some of the country's most respected tech companies. We've been named among Seattle's "Best Places to Work" in Seattle Met magazine, Seattle Business Magazine, and the Puget Sound Business Journal." We're also a recipient of Seattle Business Magazine's 2015 Tech Impact Awards. Needless to say (but we're going to say it anyway)—we love dogs, and we wouldn't dream of going to work without them by our sides.

Who we're looking for:

We’re looking for a content marketing manager to lead our publishing department’s content marketing efforts. You’ll be responsible for devising a content marketing roadmap for Rover’s brand publishing operation. You’ll project manage our content marketing campaigns from idea through execution. An excellent candidate for this role has a great attitude and detective-level content marketing skills—you can identify awesome new channels and syndication partners, deliver killer creative briefs based on your findings, and laugh about a dog jumping on a trampoline. (All three are essential.)

You’ll be the analytical thought partner to a results-obsessed publishing team. You’re a data-driven, creative, and entrepreneurial Content Marketing Manager who’ll help us grow and engage our audience for Rover by leveraging our brand publishing content. You’ll build and refine our content marketing approach across multiple platforms, and manage the execution of cross-channel content marketing campaigns. You have exceptional project management skills, bringing creative team members together and keeping campaigns on target and ahead of schedule.

A natural team captain, you’re fired up about working in a fast-paced environment where ownership is encouraged. If there was a problem? Yo, you’ll solve it. In fact, solving problems is second nature for you. You’re constructively critical, warmly direct, insatiably curious—and you hate how many adverbs we’re using right now.

You’ll work closely with Rover’s social media, video, and written editorial teams to take Rover’s content marketing to the next level through clear strategies and projects that establish Rover as the #1 dog care brand.
