We’re looking for an enthusiastic Ecommerce Analyst to join our Benelux team, located in Breda. We hope that’s you!

An Ecommerce Analyst is responsible for “online shop” excellence and joint business development and execution with our ecommerce customers (pure play) and omni channel customers. Everything you do will be data to insights driven; we are not arguing over opinions or gut feel. You will work in cross functional agile teams to effectively exploit the opportunities in our local market and deliver efficiency. In this position you play a central role within the Key Account team and work in close collaboration with the Online Acceleration Centre in London and other markets’ experts.

What you will do 

As the eComm Analyst, you will:

Improve online execution & performance of key customers

  • Develop joint business plans for customers in close collaboration with the Key Account Managers and the customers
  • Drive the implementation of activities to increase penetration, basket size and loyalty of pet owners
  • Check that our critical counterparts are executed with key customers
  • Ensure execution of optimized premium online content
  • Test and evaluate ROI of campaigns for continuous learning and improvement

Monitor web shops (competitors and partners) regularly to identify opportunities

  • Source, organize, conduct and report analysis of available data (e.g. eCommerce data tools, customer data packages, web shop pages etc.) to identify opportunities based on an in-depth understanding of online specific KPIs
  • Fuel the (international) organization with “early indicator” findings in order to help sharpen the understanding of market dynamics and trends
  • Provide proactive recommendations based on analysis to further drive the business

Work closely with the Regional eCommerce Online Acceleration Center

  • Understand and demonstrate key insights to drive our local consumption plans
  • Leverage key materials and activations

  • You have a Bachelor degree
  • Proven track of successful commercial skills and experience working directly with customers; 2-3 years of building joint business plans, content management, analytics experience and some experience with digital marketing activities
  • An optimist in action; Dutch and English speaking is a must
  • Hands-on “can do” approach, with willingness to learn and adapt quickly
  • Proficient computer skills with Google Tools specifically
  • You don’t get easily stressed by pressure. On the opposite; a fast paced environment is what keeps you energized.
  • Knowledge of Pet Food Specialty Channels and/or E-Commerce is a plus
